Introducing: Contesting Evil’s Refuge

In the early West, with law and order ad hoc at best, the line between good and evil sometimes became obscure and the need for self-preservation was always in focus. Here, the struggle to survive is self evident: A surprise attack from behind can only be recognized as evil and brings out the necessary fierce and violent response.

My newest sculpture, Contesting Evil’s Refuge, is currently at the foundry and will be unveiled in bronze at the Calgary Stampede.

Contesting Evil’s Refuge commemorates the “never say die” spirit of the West – fighting stay alive regardless of oncoming threats.
